System Bet Calculator
Calculate payouts for Trixie, Yankee, Lucky 15, Patent, Heinz, Super Heinz, and Goliath system bets. See total cost, full payout, and breakdown by fold.
System bets are popular in Australian and UK markets where bettors want multi-selection action without the all-or-nothing risk of a straight accumulator. A system bet covers all possible combinations — singles, doubles, trebles, and higher folds. A Yankee on 4 selections creates 11 bets: 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold. You profit if just 2 of your 4 selections win. Lucky systems add singles on top, so a Lucky 15 is a Yankee plus 4 singles — 15 bets total, meaning you profit even if only 1 selection wins. Our System Bet Calculator supports all standard types from Patent (3 selections, 7 bets) to Goliath (8 selections, 247 bets). Enter your selections' odds and unit stake to see total cost, maximum payout, and a full breakdown of every combination type with its odds and payout.
Add selections and choose a system bet type to see total cost, potential payout, and the breakdown by fold size.
How It Works
Add 3-8 selections with their decimal odds, choose a system type from the dropdown, and set your unit stake. The calculator shows total bets, total cost, full payout if all win, and a breakdown table showing singles, doubles, trebles with combined odds and payout for each fold level.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best system bet type?
It depends on confidence. If you are sure about all selections, a Yankee (no singles) has lower cost. If you want insurance, Lucky systems include singles giving returns with just one winner. Patent (3 selections, 7 bets) has the lowest entry cost while covering all combinations.
How much does a Goliath bet cost?
A Goliath covers 8 selections in 247 bets (28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 four-folds, 56 five-folds, 28 six-folds, 8 seven-folds, 1 eight-fold). At $1 per bet that is $247 total stake. You need at least 2 winners for any return.
Are system bets better value than parlays?
System bets have lower variance but also lower maximum payout than a straight accumulator. The EV is mathematically identical — system bets just redistribute the risk. Better for entertainment (more chances to win) but not inherently more profitable.
