Bookmaker margins by league

The average closing full-time moneyline overround per competition, per book, over the last 30 days of finished matches. Download the CSV.

The first nightly computation has not run yet — the table appears after the next 03:17 UTC job. Nothing here is estimated: an empty table is an empty table.

How the margin is measured

For every finished match in the window we take its full-time moneyline market — when a book lists the same market more than once, the copy with the most priced outcomes before kick-off — and read each outcome's closing price: the last price recorded at or before the scheduled start. The overround is the sum of the implied probabilities minus one, Σ(1/odds) − 1. A three-way football market closing at 1.90 / 3.40 / 4.20 reads 5.8%. A match counts only when at least two outcomes carried a closing price; a league appears only with 20 or more such matches for a book.

The two books are recorded as separate events in our archive, so nothing here pairs a dafabet match to a pinnacle match: each column is that book's own average over its own matches in that competition. The gap column is the difference of the two averages where both books cover the league. Simulated and e-sports competitions are excluded. Raw league names are folded into one row per competition using the same aliases the league hubs use.

The underlying prices are the same closing lines every result page on this site shows in its market record — for example the Premier League hublinks each match's closing odds. The CSV carries the same rows as this table with margins to two decimals.
